20 Days East Africa Wildlife safari and Uganda Gorilla Trekking

Our East Africa Safari spends a full day exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge ( Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

After breakfast our Safari to East Africa continues to Lake Nakuru national park. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park.

In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot leopards, rhino, as well as a variety of other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

After breakfast our Gorillas and East Africa safari departs for Maasai Mara – the land of vast migrating animals. Arrival will be in time for lunch. After lunch embarks on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Enkorok Mara Camp (Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara.

A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with bird life since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

Our East Africa safari continues to Tanzania. We leave the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Tanzania via Isebania Border - proceed to Speke bay lodge where you spend the afternoon fishing or taking a boat ride at an extra cost. Speke Bay Lodge is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Victoria in Tanzania, East Africa. It is 15 kilometers from the Serengeti National Park. Speke Bay is part of Speke Gulf, named after the famous explorer John Hanning Speke, who, in 1858, discovered Lake Victoria to be the source of the Nile. Embraced by savannah, the Lodge looks like a small village, stretched out along the shores of the lake

Breakfast at the lodge. We leave the lodge at approximately 9 am and enter Serengeti via Ndabaka gate for a full day game drives, we drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants

We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation. Full afternoon crater tour followed by dinner and overnight stay at a Ngorongoro Hhando Coffee Lodge.

The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Ngorongoro and other freestanding mountains are volcanic in origin, formed during the fracturing process that created the Rift valley 15 to 20 million years ago. When it peaked in size 3 million years ago it was a similar height to Mt. Kilimanjaro today. East Africa Safari rests in Ngorongoro

Early breakfast then check out of the lodge and proceed to Tarangire national park; game drives .dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire Burunge Tented lodge

Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators - and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed

After breakfast our Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda safari travels to Amboseli via Namanga on the Kenya and Tanzania border for lunch, After continue driving to Amboseli National park with game drive en-route seeing wildlife with mount Kilimanjaro at the backdrop until late afternoon to return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari camp

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, and many species of plain game.

Breakfast at Leisure then drive to Nairobi for Lunch then drop off at the airport to board a flight to Entebbe – on arrival you will be transferred to Cassia Lodge for dinner and overnight stay in readiness for your Uganda wildlife and gorilla tour

After morning breakfast from the lodge. Your safari guide will transfer you through Mubende arriving in Fort Portal for lunch. Later you proceed to the Kibale Forest arriving for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House.

Morning breakfast, later start a half day Forest walk in the Forest on a primate Eco walk. Look out for the Red Columbus (an endemic species only found in this forest in Uganda). Other primates include the Chimpanzee, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and others. In the afternoon, transfer enjoys a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through high concentrations of Hippos and a wide variety of animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This river cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching, and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 600 recorded species having been spotted. Retire in the later afternoon to the lodge for overnight at the Bush Lodge self-contained Tent.

Morning breakfast and transfer to the Ishasha area for a short drive in search of the tree-climbing lions on fig trees. Later, proceed to the Impenetrable forests of Bwindi, home to the Mountain gorillas where we arrive for dinner and overnight at the upgraded to the Gorilla Tented Camp Bwindi at the price of budget accommodations. The following morning would be the day of the trekking.

The gorilla trek starts with a briefing by the gorilla guides. Later, the gorilla trekking party in a group of 8 starts from Buhoma en route to one of the gorilla families. Trekking is through some challenging terrain that finally ends with the family of the Mountain gorillas with their dominant Silverback. The picnic lunches are served in the jungle before a short drive back to the Gorilla Tented Camp

Breakfast at the gorilla sanctuary and later, transfer to Mbarara for your picnic lunch. In the evening, proceed to Kampala for overnight at the Hotel Kigo.
