Day 1: Arrival
Pick up from the airport on arriving Nairobi and transfer
you to the Fairmont Norfolk hotel for overnight stay in
readiness for a holiday safari the following morning.
Day 2: Nairobi – Sweetwater’s Game
Ranch
Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to
Sweetwater’s Game ranch to arrive in good time for lunch -
afternoon visit to Sweetwater’s game ranch. Dinner and
overnight stay at Sweetwater’s tented camp.
Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in
Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups
living in an environment as close to their natural habitat
as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino
breeding area.
Day 3: Sweetwater’s – Meru

Morning departure to Meru National park – lunch at Leopard
Rock hotel then proceed for afternoon game drives, return to
the lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 4 : Meru National park
Full day spent exploring the park – morning and after noon
game drives are offered Dinner and overnight stay at
Leopard Rock lodge

The park lies in the north-eastern lowlands below the
Nyambeni hills. Meru forms part of a larger wilderness area
along the Tana River, including Bisanadi and Mwingi National
Reserves, Kora national park and Rahole national reserve.
The wetter north-western sector is hilly, with rich volcanic
soils. Numerous permanent streams cross the Park, and three
large rivers straddle the reserve: the Tana to the south,
the Ura to the south-west and the Rojeweru to the east. The
park was made famous by the writings of Joy Adamson, most
noted for her book Born Free, the true story of Elsa, the
lioness, and her return into the wild.
Day 5 Meru National Park – Samburu
Game Reserve
Depart in the Morning by road to Samburu Game Reserve
located at the North rugged Semi desert region. Samburu Game
Reserve is a wild and little visited region Lunch at the
lodge. There are three adjoining reserves - Samburu, Buffalo
Springs and Shaba, situated in arid country north of Mount
Kenya, and watered by the Uaso Nyiro River and natural
springs. Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and
overnight at Samburu Lodge
Day 6 : Samburu National Park.
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drive,
optional visit to Samburu villages can be arranged at an
extra cost . Meals and overnight at Samburu Lodge
The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular
scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the
local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves
have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife
which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated
giraffe, grevy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro
River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the
sanctuaries.
Day 7 : Samburu- Masai Mara
Breakfast at the Lodge. Morning transfer to the airstrip for
the flight to the Masai Mara departing at 0915 hrs to arrive
at approx 1045 hrs on arriving Masai mara you will be
transferred to alodge for lunch – proceed for afternoon game
drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena or Sarova
Tented camp
Day 8/9 : Masai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5
with a possibility of seeing the annual wildebeest migration
that takes place from July to September every year. Optional
hot air Balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of
US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena
lodge or Sarova Tented camp

The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most
popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most
visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was
made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type
of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth
seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest,
zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania
border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing
fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river
and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed
from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife
since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air
balloon safaris are readily available in this park
Day 10 : Masai Mara -Nairobi –Mombasa
Breakfast at leisure then view game as you proceed to the
airstrip to board your Nairobi bound flight departing at
1045 hrs to arrive at 1215 hrs – lunch at the carnivore
restaurant transfer to the airport to board your afternoon
flight to Mombasa. On arriving Mombasa, our representative
will meet you and transfer you to Voyager beach resort to
start your beach vacation

11/12 & 13 Mombasa
Days spent sunbathing/relaxing at your beach hotel
Day 14- Departure
Transfer to the airport to board a Nairobi bound flight
arriving in good connecting time with your home bound
flight.
