Day 1

Arrival -Nairobi, Kenya

Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to Best Western Meridian hotel for overnight stay in readiness for your East Africa wildlife safari– Rwanda Gorilla tour
Day 2

Nairobi -Masai Mara National reserve

To start your East Africa wildlife safari your driver guide will pick you up from Best Western Meridian hotel at 0730 hrs , Safari briefing with Asili Adventure Safaris -Tour officer then drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch then proceed for evening game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Enkorok Tented Camp
Day 3 & 4

Masai Mara National Reserve

Our East Africa safari spends 2 full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5. and other wild game . Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person.Dinner and overnight stay at Enkorok Tented Camp The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures
Day 05

Masai Mara – Speke bay boat ride

We leave the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Tanzania via Isebania Border – proceed to Speke bay lodge where you spend the afternoon fishing or taking a boat ride at an extra cost . Speke Bay Lodge is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Victoria in Tanzania, East Africa. It is 15 kilometers from the Serengeti National Park. Speke Bay is part of Speke Gulf, named after the famous explorer John Hanning Speke, who, in 1858, discovered Lake Victoria to be the source of the Nile. Embraced by savannah, the Lodge looks like a small village, stretched out along the shores of the lake
Day 06

Serengeti National park

Our 3rd safari destination in our East Africa safari combination is Serengeti National park. Enter Serengeti via Ndabaka gate for a full day game drives, we drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch .Dinner and overnight stay at MaweTented camp
Day 07

Serengeti National park

Day spent exploring the vast park rich with abundant wildlife. You also visit the northern part of the park – Seronera with an opportunity of seeing the annual wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Mawe tented Camp Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard being common, a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac breasted roller.
Day 08

Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge

After an early breakfast, we drive south to the magnificent Ngorongoro crater via the historical Olduvai Gorge whilst game watching only interrupted by a Packed lunches. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge The Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present. It is here where humanoid bones have been found dating back to over 1.75 million years including a direct ancestor of modern man. Fossil footprints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered. There is an excellent site museum where you can explore the diggings with a guide and it is also a great place to view birds.
Day 09

Ngorongoro crater tour

Early breakfast then descend into the crater for a full day crater tour with packed lunches . Ascend the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge cheeter (1) The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s eco-system. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km’s across and the rim walls stand 600m high. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking (as can be seen from the picture). The crater houses 30,000 animals and a large variety of birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons
Day 10

Ngorongoro- Tarangire National Park

After breakfast our East Africa wildlife safari continues to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive, meals and overnight at Tarangire Roika Tented Lodge. Tarangire National Park, one of the hidden jewels of Tanzania. This park measures 2,600 sq km’s and boasts a concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater. It features an impressive amount and array of bird life and plant life. Situated only 160km’s from Arusha, the park is nestled to the south of the large open grass plains of southern Maasai land. It is named after the Tarangire River, which runs directly through the center of the park and is the only permanent water source for the animals. Along the banks of this river you will find herds of wildebeest (or gnu) and zebra, followed by Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle and many others. Lurking in the background lion and leopard keep a watchful eye on a possible meal. The park offers views of grass and floodplains with impressive baobab and flat topped acacia trees scattered throughout.
Day 11

Tarangire – Arusha – Kigali

on day 11 our East Africa wildlife safari flies to Rwanda for gorilla tracking. Breakfast at Leisure then drive to Arusha for lunch – transfer to Kilimanjaro airport to board your flight to Kigali – on arrival , our representative will meet you and drive you to a hotel for overnight stay in readiness for your Rwanda Gorilla tour
Day 12

Kigali City tour

After breakfast, visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Ground, the handicrafts shops, the museum, and many other fascinating places in Kigali. In the afternoon transfer to Ruhengeri for an overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge
Day 13

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes national park

After breakfast, our tour guide will lead you to the park headquarters for briefing from the head of the park rangers. At 8.30 am local time, commence the memorable gorilla tracking experience. You will be left in the presence of the awesome mountain gorillas for about an hour. Take photographs and enjoys the antics of baby gorillas as they swing from tree branch to another. Gorilla trekking is the best wildlife experience in Africa. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Mountain view Lodge
Day 14

Parc National des Volcans –Kigali – Nairobi departure
