Day 1

Arrival – Nairobi, Kenya

Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to Kenya Comfort hotel for overnight stay in readiness for your Kenya and Tanzania wildlife and cultural safari the following morning
Day 2

Nairobi- Masai Mara national reserve

To start our Kenya and Tanzania wildlife and cultural safari your driver guide will pick you up from Kenya Comfort hotel at 0730 hrs- a safari briefing session with our Tour office then drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley, to the Mara Reserve arriving in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a tented camp
Day 03 & day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve

2 full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 trailing the wildebeest migration herds and predators – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight stay at a tented camp The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Day 05

Masai Mara- Hells gate national park

Breakfast then exit the park and drive to Naivasha -visit to hells gate national park- this park can be explored on foot or by cycling- bicycles are available for hire at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight stay at Masada hotel Hells gate national park is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. It has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer, but it is now thought that the famous pair of birds may not have nested in the park for several years. One is encouraged to hike and cycle in the park. This is a rarity in Kenyan National Parks, and is only made possible due to the lack of large predators such as lions and cheetahs
Day 06

Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National park

Optional boat ride in Lake Naivasha (Extra Cost) then drive to Amboseli National park – lunch enroute then proceed for afternoon game drives at the scenic park at the foot hills of Mt Kilimanjaro – Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli AA Lodge
Day 07

Amboseli national park

Morning and afternoon game drives in this photographic park. Meals and overnight at Amboseli AA Lodge Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, and many species of plain game
Day 08

Amboseli- Moshi

Early breakfast then check out of the lodge with packed lunches exit the park and transfer to Tarakea border – connect with your Tanzania guide. A short drive from Moshi, Materuni waterfalls is ideal for those with limited time looking for beautiful scenery, a short hike and a cultural experience. This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area; spewing crystal clear glacier water. These falls are smaller than the Ndoro waterfalls, but still pretty impressive at around 150 meters high and definitely a sight worth seeing. From Materuni village we will walk to this stunning waterfall which takes just 30 minutes, this is an extremely interesting hike through farm land growing coffee, bananas and many other fruit and vegetables. You will see smaller waterfalls and waterways which lead to the irrigation system of the local farmers, along with the beautiful fauna and flora surrounding this area. Once at the waterfall, you will be given time to take it all in, have a swim in the cool water if you wish and enjoy lunch before heading to Materuni village. The village is located at a height of 1300m (4300ft) above sea level, set within dramatic landscapes covered by tropical rain forest; here you will be able to see the typical life of the Chagga tribe. Day 9

Olpopongi-Masai Cultural village

Depart our hotel soon after breakfast and drive to Olpopongi“Maasai-Village a group of pleasant Maasai and the Village-Chief welcomes you with a chilled welcome drink. Spend a night experiencing the Masai Culture During a walk through the village, your personal Maasai guide is explaining the life, past- and today’s life of the Tanzania Maasai. Get more information about the culinary culture of the Maasai while tasting a traditional tea (chai) prepared on the wood fire. A tasty lunch with a variety of local food highlights will end the activities inside the village. The afternoon starts with an exciting & very educational walking safari across the nearby bush. Maasai warriors will guide you along their paths and explain you typical medicinal plants, extraordinary trees, tracks and the local wildlife. In addition to that, the usage of local tools, hunting techniques and fire preparation is a part your unforgettable bush excursion. Coming back to the village, the well-deserved break is accompanied by freshly brewed coffee & cake. Day 10

Olpopongi- Lake Manyara national park

After breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National park, picnic lunch is served in the park. we enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the six Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large sodiforous Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion. Dinner and overnight stay at Twiga Lodge and campsite
Day 11

Lake Manyara - Serengeti National park

After breakfast proceeds to Serengeti national park. Game is viewed as we proceed to Nyati camp for dinner and overnight stay
Day 12

Serengeti National Park

Full day spent exploring the park; Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area. Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard being common, a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac breasted roller. Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation .Full afternoon crater tour .The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Ngorongoro and other freestanding mountains are volcanic in origin, formed during the fracturing process that created the Rift valley 15 to 20 million years ago. When it peaked in size 3 million years ago it was a similar height to Mt. Kilimanjaro today. Dinner and overnight stay at Octagon Lodge
Day 14

Ngorongoro – Tarangire national park

Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and proceed to Tarangire National Park for afternoon game drives. Many of the animals congregate around the only source of permanent water in the park, the Tarangire River. This is the best place in Tanzania to see really big herds of elephants of up to 300 at a time on safari. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika tented lodge
Day 15

Tarangire – Arusha – Departure

Leave the lodge soon after breakfast and drive to Arusha – private transfer to Nairobi to arrive at approximately 1800 hrs – drop off at the airport to board your home bound flight end of a memorable Kenya and Tanzania wildlife and cultural safari
