My Favorite Destination

Meru National Park

Meru National Park is one of Kenya’s most beautiful and less-crowded wildlife destinations, located east of Mount Kenya. The park is known for its diverse landscapes, including savannah grasslands, riverine forests, wetlands, and the flowing rivers that support abundant wildlife.

Visitors can see elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and numerous bird species. The park is also famous for its connection to conservation and the story of George and Joy Adamson, who helped raise Elsa the lioness.

13 days Ultimate Kenyan Educational Adventure

13 days Ultimate Kenyan Educational Adventure

This 13-day expedition turns Kenya into an interactive, multi-disciplinary laboratory where textbook science comes alive. Students begin by studying urban wildlife conservation in Nairobi and white-water river hydrology in Sagana, before climbing Mount Kenya to investigate how high-altitude forest "water towers" sustain lower ecosystems. Crossing the Equator into the semi-arid bush of Samburu, the focus shifts to evolutionary biology as students track desert-adapted wildlife that survive entirely without free water. The journey then plunges into the Great Rift Valley to witness active tectonic volcanism and the fragile, hyper-alkaline food webs of Lakes Nakuru and Bogoria. The expedition culminates in the world-famous Maasai Mara savannah, where students observe multi-trophic predator-prey dynamics and shift their focus to cultural anthropology and human ecology through philanthropic engagement at the Ol Malaika Children’s Home and traditional, uncommercialized survival training with Maasai warriors at Maji Moto.
